Contract Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for a Contract Manager to join a reputable façades, steel and cladding specialist company in Hong Kong. You will be responsible for various ongoing projects whilst reporting directly to the Senior Management.

Responsibilities and Duties

•  Set up control procedures and management processes related to cost control, contract administration and procurement for the projects
•  Responsible for tender/contract review, overall pre and post contract negotiation, administration and management
•  Prepare budgets, estimates and carry out cost control
•  Formulate procurement strategies, manage and negotiate contracts with vendors
•  Identify and notify of potential claims for delay and disruption to the regular progress of works
•  Formulate claims strategies and prepare claims documentation

Desired Skills and Experience

•  Previous relevant experience in Hong Kong working in a similar role
•  Claims related experience (time and cost) is an advantage]
•  Strong communication skills in English and Cantonese
•  Good I.T. skills
•  Ability to work independently

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

•  Degree in Quantity Surveying or other related discipline
•  Professional chartered qualifications such as MRICS is an advantage but not essential
