M&E Building Services Engineer

An internationally established, forward thinking and innovative Building Services Design Consultancy is looking out for an intermediate M&E /Building Services Engineer to join their newly established office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The successful candidate will be involved in a range of exciting industrial, commercial and mixed use developments. You will be involved from inception to post-delivery aftercare.

Responsibilities and Duties

•  Develop concept and detailed mechanical designs for mixed use developments, retail and multi storey facilities in HVAC, drainage, fire and life systems
•  Overseeing and supervising the installation of building systems and specifying maintenance and operating procedures.
•  Attending project group and technical meetings.
•  Ensuring that the design and maintenance of building systems meets legislative and health and safety requirements.

Desired Skills and Experience

•  5-7 years' experience of building services design, coordination, installation, testing & commissioning;
• Strong Autocad skills -Site and Design experience in varying Mechanical disciplines.
• Conversant with current Malaysian regulations and statutory requirements;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including English;

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
• On route to Chartered Engineer would be a distinct advantage
