London Olympic Velodrome Challenge

Steve Thomas & Richard Poulter, the Directors of Maxim Recruitment, took to the boards of the 2012 London Olympic Velodrome this July to raise money for the Lighthouse Club, the construction industry charity.

Between them they managed to raise over GBP1,100: Steve GBP419, Richard GBP710

They joined lots of other participants from the construction industry in learning how to ride a gearless and pedal-less lightweight bike capable of high speeds!  After some intense training, they raced around the track as fast as possible for 10 minutes to show their prowess!

Although Laura Trott, Chris Boardman and Bradley Wiggins appeared not to be in fear of their records, great fun was had by all!
