Highly reputable Hong Kong based client requires a motivated and committed Programme Manager/ Project Controls Manager to join the Integrated Programme Management team in Hong Kong.

This position is based in Hong Kong head office and you will be responsible for making value-added assessments on programme information and potential opportunities/ concerns with the schedule to the IPMO. You will be report directly to Director of Integrated Programme Management Office and work closely with colleagues across Property, Finance, Construction Site Team and operating departments to construct, manage and advise on an integrated programme for operations.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide a master scheduling program that monitors and assesses If the site project control programme is comprehensive, accurate and up-to-date according to the Master Integrated Schedule
  • Incorporate new/revised project estimates, and review overall schedule to ensure viability and availability of resources to support an up-to-date master schedule
  • Partner with project personnel to establish the plan and document the scope, develop project schedules and/or monitor capital cost estimates. Conduct due diligence to ensure accuracy of information
  • Ensure project schedule is developed to provide the most benefit to the organisation
  • Build and maintain the integrated programme, liaising closely with IPMO, Operation Departments, Finance and Site Construction Team to ensure there are no clashes or periods of over/under exposure within the programme
  • Maintain and ensure integrity of data:Update integrated schedule with any project modifications
  • Work closely with the Site Construction Team to ensure latest development scheduling requirements are captured and updated
  • Work closely with Project Managers to integrate and consolidate project management programs with the Master Integrated Schedule
  • Analyse data; identify opportunities, risks and concerns, and provide advice to DIPMO:
  • Monitor time, costs and risks to determine trends and to assist in forecasting
  • Ensure all construction scheduling risks are fully integrated into Compendium and Project Risk System
  • Develop and implement programme of reporting:
  • Understand the information requirements of key stakeholders and establish reports which enable informed, timely decision-making
  • Develop reporting schedule, and ensure the maintenance of all essential documentation
  • Protect the organisation's interests:
  • Ensure scheduling is aligned with the organisation's policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

  • University degree (3-4 year Bachelor’s) or equivalent
  • Construction or property development background, wth a specialisation in scheduling
  • Professional qualification of / such as CIOB or RICS
  • Experience working in mega PRC-based construction project
