Summary of Senior Quantity Surveyor / Contract Administrator Job Vacancy - Dubai

A leading international consultancy with a growing UAE business is looking for a candidate from a Quantity Surveying background and strong contractual experience to work in a Contract Administration role on assignments throughout the UAE. Whilst working for this leading global employer you will be assigned to short term assignments, often with main contractors and sites will span across the breadth of the UAE. Therefore candidates must be prepared to work in all UAE locations for short periods of time when needed.

Responsibilities and Duties

The candidate selected for this role will work specifically for the project services division providing commercial management and contract administration support to the hiring company's clients. This role will be ideal for candidates who have had a taste of Contract Administration work as part of their role as a Quantity Surveyor and are keen to get more involved in contractual / claims specific work in the future. The nature of work will provide candidates with a diverse range of project experience whilst allowing them the novelty of experiencing multiple working environments whilst being securely employed by a leading International company.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Candidates must have previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Middle East region. Specific experience in the UAE would be an advantage.
• Candidates must have a strong understanding of contract administration
• A degree or similar equivalent in a relevant subject is desired
• Candidates with experience of working as a Quantity Surveyor / Contract Administrator on building projects are preferred
