Responsibilities and Duties

-The DICM is responsible for assisting in the coordination of the works for the Joint Venture (JV) project.

-Ensure that the relevant sections of the works are well planned to allow the least possible interference to the JV works and also the works of the interfacing contractors;

-Assist the Interface Coordination Manager in the day to day coordination and interfacing of the Project;

-Establishment of detailed logical sequencing of various elements of the works with the interfacing contractors; -

-Develop and maintain good working relationships with client, consultants, interfacing contractors, sub-contractors, and other professionals as well as government departments to ensure smooth running of the project and enhance JV reputation;

-Ensure all assigned responsibilities relating to quality are carried out in accordance with the approved ISO 9001 quality procedures;

-Liaise and coordinate meetings with the client, interfacing contractors, government authorities and other relevant third parties;

-When required attend and minute meetings, draft correspondence for coordination purpose Aid;

-Assist other JV departments in Quality Control, Safety and Environmental exercises where and when required.

Desired Skills and Experience

-Good command of written and spoken English is essential;

-Willing and able to work independently and have strong interpersonal and communication skills;

-Strong Computer skills, experience in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is advantageous;

-Prior experience with Airport Projects is advantageous;

-Minimum 3-5 years Construction or Engineering experience;

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

-Higher Diploma / Degree in Construction / Engineering is preferred;
