Project Quantity Surveyor

Due to continued expansion a reputable main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team and provide commercial/cost expertise for building and foundation projects in Hong Kong.

Large scale building and foundation projects in Hong Kong

Responsibilities and Duties

- Handle administration of main contracts and subcontracts
- Assist with cost estimation
- Handle cost control and budgeting
- Material procurement
- Assist with any contractual claims and subcontractors’ claims if required
- Report to Senior Commercial staff on all commercial matters

Desired Skills and Experience

- Relevant experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in Hong Kong
- Candidates with main contracting experience are preferred
- Experience working with building or foundation projects is an advantage
- Strong communication skills in Cantonese and English
- Good I.T. skills

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- Chartered professional membership is preferred but not essential
