Responsibilities and Duties

  • Directly report to the Commercial Manager
  • Liaise with Site Construction Team, Technical Design Team, Plant Team and Planning Team Manage, prepare and value variations, re-measurement and final account
  • Prepare interim payment applications to the Client Draft appropriate contractual correspondence, notifications and letters of entitlement
  • Administer potential variations, create valuable variations, price major variations and prepare estimate for extra works
  • Assist the Commercial Manager to collect and consolidate evidence and technical information for any claim submissions, drafting EOT / cost claims narrative as required

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Proven track record of working as a Quantity Surveyor on Civil Engineering projects in Hong Kong
  • Candidates from a main contracting background are preferred however candidates with consultancy experience will also be considered
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in Cantonese and English

**Candidates with less experience will be considered for the post of Project Quantity Surveyor**

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar Construction/Engineering discipline
  • Chartered membership such as MRICS/MHKIS is preferred
