A fantastic career opportunity for a planning engineer with civils experience to join a global construction consultant on a prestigious highway project in Oman.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Part of a 3-man planning team; reporting to the Lead Planner
• Produce regular and accurate progress reports for inclusion in the Project Director’s client submissions.
• Identify delays, critical paths, areas of concern and propose corrective action to the planning and the section managers
• Ensuring understanding and compliance with company procedures, systems and policies
• Ensuring that all matters relating to planning are recorded and acted on.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience with roads/heavy civils projects is essential
• Arabic speaking is advantageous, not essential
• Must be proficient in the use of Primavera P6

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent essential
