Summary of Area Contracts Manager Job Vacancy - Doha
A Contracts Manager is required to work for a leading consultancy based in Qatar carrying out important work on major roads and highways projects in the city of Doha.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Successful candidate will operate as one of several Area Contracts Managers reporting into the Commercial Director. You will take full commercial and contractual control of a package of a major roads and highways scheme and be responsible for managing a team of commercial staff performing day to day tasks on behalf of the client.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in a Quantity Surveying / Contracts Manager role on civil engineering projects. Ideally including some major roads or highways experience
- Previous experience of working in the Middle East region is desired
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- A degree (or similar equivalent) is essential
- Membership to a professional body such as the RICS or similar equivalent is desired
