Responsibilities and Duties

The role will involve the management of a team of Quantity Surveyors in a busy London office, making good decisions for business and effectively maintain good client relationships in a professional and diligent manner whilst ensuring profitability for the business. You will be responsible for a range of pre and post contract duties.

Duties will include (not limited to):

  • Creating cost estimates and detailed cost plans
  • Budget estimating
  • Preparation of tender documents
  • Reporting on tenders
  • Assembly of contract documentation
  • Cost reporting
  • Interim valuations
  • Agreement of final accounts

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Proven Cost Management experience for a reputable consultancy on large projects in the building sector
  • Previous line management experience is essential for this role

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

  • Degree qualification or equivalent is desired
  • Member of a relevant professional body such as the RICS is desired.
