As part of our client's premier construction disputes practice, the successful candidate will be involved in providing expert advice and dispute resolution services for complex, large scale construction projects worldwide. Their team is distinguished for adopting a proactive, hands-on approach, with seasoned professionals who assist clients in navigating contractual conflicts, arbitration, adjudication, litigation support, and mediation processes.

The role involves engaging in high-level expert witness activities, supporting clients through diverse construction dispute scenarios, and contributing to a dynamic, international environment.
The position offers flexibility, balancing time between a modern, well-equipped Singapore office and remote work.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborate with senior team members and serve as a Quantum Expert Witness by preparing detailed expert reports and joint statements for dispute resolution proceedings.
- Assist in the development of comprehensive reports, including quantification of costs and claims related to major disputes.
- Under the supervision of senior colleagues, support the execution of quantum analyses.
- Coordinate and liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders to gather pertinent information and documentation.
- Contribute to business development efforts by building and maintaining a client portfolio.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience supporting or serving as the lead assistant to a Quantum Expert, or readiness to independently handle appointments.
- Demonstrable success and upward career progression within the field of construction dispute resolution.
- Background in Quantity Surveying, ideally with experience on significant, large scale projects with reputable organizations.
- Solid understanding of contractual frameworks and familiarity with standard form contracts.
- Prior exposure to dispute resolution processes, especially arbitration.
- Proven ability to draft detailed report sections and analytical documents.
- Methodical, meticulous, and precise in approach.
- Professional demeanor combined with excellent communication skills.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Degree in Construction or a related field.
- Additional qualifications or memberships related to construction law would be advantageous.
