Associate Quantity Surveyor

A job as an Associate Quantity Surveyor can be rewarding and very diverse in scope. Associate Quantity Surveyors are often employed by cost consultancies to manage a division or sector and supervise a team of surveyors and  and perform formal line management responsibilities. Typically Associates will report directly to the Directors of their section or company.

Associate Quantity Surveyor vacancies can be in a range of construction sectors including building, civil engineering, M&E and the property market.

The career path of an Associate Quantity Surveyor can begin as a trainee or graduate QS, and progress to a management role on site or at head office running the cost and contracts function running multiple projects worth millions of pounds each.  Associates may also responsible for client managements and required to identify new opportunities in the market place and seek to develop new business while managing the current live projects.

Associate Quantity Surveying professionals are in great demand with jobs available to work on projects in London, across the South East of England, across the UK and abroad in Middle East locations such as Dubai as well as in Hong Kong and a number of parts of Asia.
