Your career as a Quantum professional often begins once you already have a few years of Quantity Surveying experience. It also helps if you are well qualified academically, although depending on the company this isn’t always a prerequisite.

You can often earn a far higher salary as a Quantum professional at the senior levels, than you otherwise might as a Commercial Leader or Commercial Manager within a Contracting or general Consulting organisation.
