About Delay Professionals

A job as a Delay Analyst at any level is one of the most challenging but also rewarding paths you can take in construction. Your career as a Delay Analyst is usually begins once you have a few years of construction experience in one of a few possible disciplines. The usual discipline is predominantly construction planning, however people often come from a construction management or engineering background as the delay skills can be taught within some of the more established organisations.

The rewards in this exciting career are financial as well as offering mentally challenge and reward. You can often earn a far higher salary as a successful Delay Analyst, especially at the senior levels, than you otherwise might as a Senior Planner / Planning Manager within a Contracting or general Consulting organisation.
