Head of Technical Expert Services
A fantastic opportunity for a Technical Expert to join an expanding specialist claims and disputes consultancy.
The successful applicant will have an established book of business with experience and appetite for building an admired multidisciplinary technical expert team.
This is a remote position, and the Technical Expert can be based anywhere in the UK.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as the lead Technical Expert on major disputes.
- Draft and deliver expert witness reports.
- Contribute actively to Senior Leadership Meetings.
- Drive business development initiatives, promoting the consultancy’s brand, services, and values to prospective clients and employees.
- Lead staff training, mentoring, and professional development.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience acting as a Technical Expert.
- Background in Architecture, Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or MEP
- Proven expertise in drafting high-quality expert reports.
- Previous appointment(s) in an expert witness capacity.
- Broad experience across diverse markets, construction and engineering projects.
- Experienced in securing expert witness appointments.
- Testifying experience
- Experience and appetite for building an admired multidisciplinary technical expert team.
- Strong ability to build, develop, and sustain client relationships.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Degree qualified
- Ideally Chartered in a relevant institution
