About Project Engineers

Project Engineers are actually the bridges which join technical engineering and project management together in a construction project. In some cases, the Project Engineer is the same as a Project Manager. But in most cases these two professionals have joint responsibility for leading a project.

The role of the Project Engineer is often described as a liaison between the project manager and the technical disciplines involved in a project. They are the one who keep the engineering project on time and on budget, and monitor the whole project to ensure its fitness of purpose along the way.

As Project Engineers are responsible for the day to day running of engineering schemes, excellent time and people management skills, as well as practical problem solving skills, are very important for successful project engineers
