A main contractor in Hong Kong undertaking various types of building projects is seeking high calibre candidates to fill the position of Project Quantity Surveyor for its Hong Kong based projects.

The successful candidate will be joining a reputable main contractor in Hong Kong working on large scale building projects.

Responsibilities and Duties

•  Prepare cost and variations estimates
•  Carry out measurement for the purpose of subletting, material ordering, variation estimates and final accounts
•  Prepare contra-charge account against subcontractors
•  Assist with any claims and insurance claims
•  Handle the settlement of Final Accounts for both the Main Contract and Subcontracts
•  Handle any other Quantity Surveying task as required by the Commercial Manager

Desired Skills and Experience

•  Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in Hong Kong
•  Large scale building project experience is preferred
•  Contracting background is an advantage
•  Strong communication skills in English and Cantonese

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

•  Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
•  Chartered status such as MRICs is an advantage but not essential
