Quantity Surveyor
This Quantity Surveying Cost Consulting role offers the chance to work client-side for a respected consultancy, representing private developer clients in the delivery of industrial schemes.
You will lead commercial management across warehouses, factories, and related infrastructure projects in Birmingham.
Project Details
- Industrial development focus: warehouses, factories, access roads.
- Representing the developer (client side).
This Maxim client has a strong track record of delivering logistic, warehouse, factory, and related industrial projects, in the Midlands and across the UK.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Full pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties.
- Manage and coordinate the design team to achieve project objectives.
- Prepare cost plans, estimates, and tender documentation.
- Manage contract administration, variations, and final accounts.
- Provide commercial reporting and advice to the client.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Candidates with 5-10 years’ quantity surveying experience or equivalent will be most suitable.
- Strong background in industrial development projects preferred but not essential.
- Experience working client-side or for private developers highly desirable.
- Can demonstrate acumen and leadership skills from previous completed projects.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Professional membership (MRICS or equivalent) desirable.
