Quantity Surveyor
A Quantity Surveyor is required to join a specialist luxury housing contractor based in North London.
Project Details
The hiring company specialise in the construction of luxury residential projects as well as some high end commercial developments. This includes new build and refurbishments. Projects are often in excess of £1m.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Successful candidate will assist the Senior QS and Commercial Manager on one or more projects with day-to-day commercial duties. As candidates progress, they will be given responsibility of managing sites independantly.
Desired Skills and Experience
- A contracting background is desired. Either for a main contractor or sub-contractor.
- Candidates with experience of working on housing projects for a contractor / sub-contractor would be advantageous. However candidates with experience on general construction / fit-out projects are also welcome.
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills are required
- Fully proficient in common IT packages such as Microsoft Office
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- A formal qualification in Quantity Surveying or other relevant subject is desired
