One of Hong Kong's leading main contractors is seeking a Cantonese Quantity Surveyor to work on a large scale civil engineering project in Hong Kong. This is a site based role and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain some mega scale project experience. 

Project Details

• A HK$ billion construction project in Hong Kong

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensure correspondence and records in connection with contract receipts and payment
• Liaise with other departments in respect of the progress and contracts
• Measure work done by sub-contractors
• Prepare cost and valuation comparisons
• Handle ongoing contract administration

Desired Skills and Experience

• Relevant experience in large building or civil works, preferably gained working with a main contractor in Hong Kong
• Strong team player and able to work under pressure
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication skills in Cantonese and English
• Good IT skills

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

• Diploma or high qualification in Quantity Surveying or other related disciplines
• Chartered status such as MRICS is an advantage
