Quantity Surveyor
A Quantity Surveyor is required to join a renowned consultancy on a West London rail project. You will be responsible for the delivery of all of the commercial, contract and correspondence management relative to your section/package discipline within a broader team.

You will be working on an exciting West London rail project as a Quantity Surveyor.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Implement effective quantity surveying services aimed at maintaining effective cost control throughout the duration of the project
- To produce and analyse all relevant commercial data for the monthly reporting cycle and to provide accurate cost data in support of annual budget reviews
- To work with project teams in managing the cost impact and validation of change and to encourage the whole delivery team to strive to deliver value for money
- Post contract management through to settlement of final accounts and internal reconciliations to facilitate project close out in line with project budgets and project plan.
- Provide relevant cost and contract advice when needed
- Cost Control
- Cost auditing / verification
- Commercial reporting
- Payment certifications
- Read and understand the contract schedule
Desired Skills and Experience
- Demonstrable experience in the rail sector
- Specific knowledge and experience of pre and post contract commercial services
- Specific understanding of the NEC3 form of contract
- Main Contracting or consultancy experience is considered for this role
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Membership of the RICS, ICES or similar recognised body is preferred however not essential for a Quantity Surveyor with the right experience
