You should have experience working for a construction claims or expert witness consultancy, and be interested in joining a legal firm and pursuing either your LLB or GDL. Responsibilities and Duties

The role available is to work as an Associate within the business, providing construction claims and legal advice services to clients in the construction market in London and the South East. A large amount of your time will be working on claims in various construction sectors, as well as analysing documents at an expert level and assessing any grounds for negligence or unreasonable pricings and reporting these findings.

The majority of this work will relate to general construction claims, with contracts management and working on adjudications being a key part of the role. During a year, you will likely be involved on multiple projects and the role will offer exposure to an exciting variety of projects.

Desired Skills and Experience

- Strong knowledge and understanding of typical duties of a Quantity Surveyor or Engineer
- Experience of working in the building or civils/infrastructure sectors are both favourable
- You should be within an easy commute of Maidstone in Kent
- Willingness to learn
- Eager to work and specialise as a legal professional in construction

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

- Qualified to degree level or similar equivalent is desired
-  Membership to a professional body is seen as beneficial
- On route or have completed further qualifications in construction law are beneficial; LLB and GDL courses will be fully funded by the company
