Senior Building Surveyor
An exciting position is available as a Senior Building Surveyor based in South East London, delivering capital works projects with a strong focus on social housing.
This Building Surveyor job in London involves leading the delivery of capital works and refurbishment projects, primarily within the social housing sector, under JCT contracts. You will be office-based with site visits, hybrid work being available as an option when firmly established in the role.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Writing specifications, schedules of works, and tender documents
- JCT contract administration duties
- Carrying out property inspections and condition surveys
- Writing professional reports for clients
- Attending site meetings and leading project delivery
- Building strong client relationships and developing communication skills
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience as a team leader
- Contract administration knowledge is essential
- Experience in a client-facing role
- Proficiency in writing professional specifications
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- BSc in Building Surveying (or equivalent) required
- 3+ years of experience in a building surveying role after graduation preferable
- MRICS chartership ideal
