Senior Cost Planner

Responsibilities and Duties

You will be:

• Creating cost estimates and detailed cost plans
• Pooling cost data centre sources
• Market testing rates / bench marking in liaison with research and development

• Experience and ability to manage junior cost planners, as part of small team.

• Comfortable and Capable of and apply initiative in working in an autonomous or team orientated environment
• Interpret information and instructions correctly and carry out tasks accordingly
• Recent UK experience is preferable

Desired Skills and Experience

• Good understanding and robust technical knowledge of building technology and construction processes, with large mixed use and strong residential focus/bias. (inc high rise).
• Experience of regeneration projects would be an advantage.
• Exceptionally Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft exceptionally strong skills and experience in Excel cost X, CAD measure, bespoke measuring programmes and tools generally; and with good skills and ability in Outlook Email, Calendar, word.
• The interviewing company is seeking someone with longevity of experience in Cost Planning in a Client side role, but additional contractor experience would also be considered

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

• Degree qualification or equivalent is preferable
