Senior Delay Analyst

An international construction disputes consultancy are seeking a Senior Delay Analyst to join their expert team in Toronto, Canada. You should be a construction practitioner with experience of construction claims and disputes in the discipline of delay analysis, on high value construction and / or infrastructure projects.

Project Details

You will work as a Senior Consultant on projects in a variety of construction sectors inclusive of buildings and infrastructure.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Delay Analysis on major construction projects
- Support the Lead Experts on high profile disputes
- High level Expert Report writing
- Site visits and investigation
- Interaction with client personnel, other team members, contractors, design team and other professionals from other firms involved in the  engagement
- Maintaining detailed working paper records of reflecting assumptions, methodologies, and sources of information employed during the  performance of all analytical tasks
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations and quantitative exhibits for third parties on the project scope and findings
- Enhance personal reputation at all times in the wider market

Desired Skills and Experience

- Experienced in large value, complex construction projects and disputes
- Ability to travel internationally
- Proficient with scheduling software including Primavera Project Planner and Microsoft Project
- Ability to travel internationally
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently
- Ability to produce high quality work product under strict deadlines
- Ability to work in a high-paced, multi-task environment with attention to detail
- High level of interpersonal skills
- High level of quantitative and qualitative research and analytical skills
- Hard working, eager to learn and motivated to succeed

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

- College / University degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, and/or related fields
- Qualifications in construction law are beneficial
