A Senior Project Surveyor is being sought by a leading UK main contractor in Oxford, to work on the cladding and refurbishment of 5 of Oxford City Council's residential tower blocks. The project is set to be complete in 2018. Could this be an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills?
Project Details
The successful candidate will be commercially responsible for the refurbishment of 5 of Oxford City Council's residential tower blocks.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a Senior Project Surveyor, you will be reporting directly to the Commercial Manager and will be expected to complete a full range of Quantity Surveying tasks including, but not limited to:
- Contract administration
- Subcontractor management
- Conducting valuations
- Cost value reconciliations
- Change schedule management
- Variations (compensation/additional time/ additional works)
- Pricing compensation
- Client liaison management
- Preparation of final accounts
- Issuing Interim payments certificates
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience managing projects in excess of £10m is desirable
- Highly experienced working on build/refurbishment projects, preferably commercial buildings
- Excellent leadership skills
- IT literate
- Effective communicator, both written and verbal
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
Degree or similar equivalent in Quantity Surveying or other relevant discipline
