Senior Quantity Surveyor

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an industry leading main contractor working on major scale construction projects in Hong Kong.

Project Details

Large scale HK$billion civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities and Duties

•  Responsible for cost planning
•  Handle tender estimation
•  Ensure project cost control
•  Oversee contract administration
•  Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
•  Evaluation of payment applications and variation works
•  Provide commercial and contractual advice to other departments when required
•  Supervise junior QS staff and provide guidance when necessary

Desired Skills and Experience

•  Strong experience in Quantity Surveying with a contractor in Hong Kong
•  Large scale civil engineering or infrastructure project experience is an advantage
•  Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese
•  Ability to supervise and lead a team of Quantity Surveyors

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

•  Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
•  Chartered status is an advantage but not essential
