Two Senior Quantity Surveyors are being sought by a highly reputable multi-disciplinary main contractor in Central London. The successful candidates will be involved in the commercial aspects of the London Bridge Station remodelling for the Thameslink line. Could this be an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills?

The successful candidates will be involved in the commercial aspects of the London Bridge Station remodelling for the Thameslink line.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be reporting directly to the Commercial Manager and will be expected to perform a full spectrum of Quantity Surveying duties including, but not limited to:

• Contract administration (ICE Bespoke version)
• Subcontractor management
• Conducting valuations
• Conducting measurements
• Cost value reconciliations
• Change schedule management
• Variations (compensation/additional time/ additional works)
• Pricing compensation
• Client liaison management
• Preparation of claims
• Preparation of final accounts
• Issuing Interim payments certificates

Desired Skills and Experience

• ICE/NEC experience is highly desirable
• Build experience is essential for this vacancy. Particular experience on station remodeling is highly desirable
• Able to use own initiative
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• IT literate Excellent organisational skills

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

Degree or similar equivilent in Quantity Surveying or alternative relevant discipline is highly desirable
