About Site Managers

Site Managers are tasked with the management and running of a construction site. Responsible for cooperating with many other members of a construction project they make sure the construction site runs safely, to budget, and on time. A site Manager will communicate across all sectors of a construction project making good communication skills a must.

Main duties consist of communicating with the client and design team on business proposals before construction begins, and thereon in throughout the construction process. All site staff and visitor’s safety while on-site come under the site managers charge, as does complying with building regulations, which may require discussion with local authorities. Organisation and numeracy competency along with a comprehensive knowledge of the construction business are also essential.
