Project Details
The successful Associate Quantity Surveyor will work on a range of construction projects across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.
Projects include commercial, mixed-use and development-led schemes, providing full cost management and cost consultancy services from inception through to completion.
Responsibilities and Duties
This is a senior-level quantity surveying and cost management job with both technical and business development responsibilities.
Key duties are expected to include:
- Delivering cost consultancy and quantity surveying services on private sector construction projects
- Leading projects and managing cost control from early design stages through to final account
- Providing accurate cost advice, reporting and commercial guidance to clients
- Supporting business development activity, including networking and growing a local client base
- Contributing to overall turnover and profitability in line with agreed business targets
- Supporting the growth of the Birmingham office with the potential to move into a leadership role

Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- MRICS qualification is essential
