Contracts Manager - Roofing

A Contracts Manager vacancy exists with a small but ambitious Roofing Contractor based in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire to manage their projects in the East Midlands region. This is an interesting position for someone with a proven track record of managing multiple sites effectively to join a reputable family ran business working on roofing projects in the region of £5k up to £150k.

The position would suit a knowledgeable and passionate Contracts Manager ideally with some experience in the Roofing sector, who can implement effective systems and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the operational side of their business. The employer has ambitious plans to grow the business and you would play a key role in the future growth plans and be incentivised accordingly.

Project Details

The hiring company are a specialist roofing contractor based in Leicestershire and carrying out the majority of their work in the East Midlands region. They work in the commercial, industrial and high-end residential sectors of construction with projects ranging from £5k up to £150k.

Projects will largely be within the East Midlands, however from time to time the company will take on projects outside of this area.

Responsibilities and Duties

This is an important and senior level role within the business and you will report directly to the Managing Director, working closely with him to ensure that projects are completed in accordance to time, design and budget specifications.

As Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for the operational side of the business and specific duties will include (but are not limited to):

- Scheduling and Planning
- Procurement of materials
- Managing site on staff
- Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are adhered to
- Ensuring relevant documentation for multiple projects is kept up to date

Desired Skills and Experience

- Must have a proven track record in managing and delivering multiple sites including relevant documentation
- Some experience in managing the construction of roofing projects is desired
- Self sufficient worker capable of fully managing and developing the operational side of the business
- Strong knowledge of industry compliance and regulations
- Must be IT literate
- Target driven mentality (Incentives scheme available)

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

- Valid Driving License is desired
