Delay Expert
A fantastic opportunity for a Delay Expert to join an expanding specialist claims and disputes consultancy.
The successful applicant will ideally have an established book of business, and enthusiasm for personal and team development.
This is a remote position, and the Delay Expert can be based anywhere in the UK.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as the lead Delay Expert on major disputes.
- Draft and deliver expert witness reports.
- Contribute actively to Senior Leadership Meetings.
- Drive business development initiatives, promoting the consultancy’s brand, services, and values to prospective clients and employees.
- Lead staff training, mentoring, and professional development.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience acting as a Delay Expert.
- A background in Planning Engineering, or Project Management.
- Proven expertise in drafting high-quality expert reports.
- Previous appointment(s) in an expert witness capacity.
- Broad experience across diverse markets, construction and engineering projects, and claims.
- Preferably experienced in securing expert witness appointments.
- Ideally has delivered testimony in dispute proceedings.
- Strong ability to build, develop, and sustain client relationships.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Degree qualified
- Ideally Chartered in a relevant institution
