An exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join London’s private developer to work on high end residential developments. The ideal candidate for this Procurement Manager role will have experience from a private client background in construction. Construction Project manager will be working high budget project in company office in Mayfair, London.

Project Details

This Construction Project/Procurement Manager role is a 2-year contract with further opportunity to stay permanently. Projects will mostly be luxury residential developments, up to £30mil in value.

Client Representative will be responsible for overlooking delivery of a major residential project site in London. Successful Construction Project Manager candidate will be strategizing to find cost effective deals and supplies as well as discovering the best ways to cut construction and project expenses. The role will involve working with the owner of this London’s top private developer directly. The company office is located in Mayfair, London.

Responsibilities and Duties

The duties of this Construction Project Manager / Procurement Manager / Client Representative will include to:

  • Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
  • Researching the market for particular goods and services required for a top end residential construction project
  • Carrying out procurement process for goods and services specified by architects 
  • Participating meetings on-site with architects, clients and construction team
  • Resolving any issues that might hinder the timely completion of the project phases
  • Finalise purchase details of orders and deliveries
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  • Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
  • Preparing and submitting project estimates to the client

Desired Skills and Experience


  • 10+ years of experience in construction project management/procurement in UK
  • Experience of refurbishment and new build projects
  • Experience of working on the client side of construction project is an advantage
  • Experience in managing budgets for large construction projects
  • Ability to read blueprints, structural drawings and plan sets
  • Advanced understanding of risk management policies and procedures
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes and equipment
  • Ideally fluent Russian and English languages, however we will review profiles with strong expertise without Russian language skills too
  • Ability to travel between central London office and construction site outside London.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is highly preferred
