Project Details
The Project Manager will oversee a portfolio of premium construction projects located across Central London.
Projects will include high-value hotel developments, luxury refurbishments and high-end commercial schemes. These projects are characterised by complex design, exceptional quality standards and significant construction values, requiring careful coordination and high levels of stakeholder management.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Project Manager will take responsibility for delivering projects from inception through to completion, ensuring successful outcomes in terms of time, cost and quality.
- Lead the delivery of high-end construction projects across Central London
- Act as the primary client interface, providing professional project management services
- Manage projects from feasibility through to completion and handover
- Coordinate design teams, contractors and consultants
- Develop and manage project programmes and key milestones
- Monitor project progress, risks and performance
- Ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality standards
- Manage procurement processes and contractor appointments
- Administer contracts and manage change control processes
- Report regularly to clients on project status and performance
- Ensure effective communication between all stakeholders
- Support the successful delivery of multiple projects concurrently
Desired Skills and Experience
This role is suited to a Project Manager with experience delivering premium, high-value projects within Central London.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within a construction consultancy or client-side environment
- Experience delivering high-end, high-value construction projects such as hotels, luxury residential or commercial schemes
- Strong understanding of project management processes across all project stages
- Experience working within the Central London construction market
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational and coordination abilities
- Commercial awareness and understanding of cost and programme management
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Degree qualified in Project Management, Construction Management or related discipline
- Professional membership (e.g. APM, RICS or similar) is desirable
