Quantity Surveyor
A unique opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a boutique property developer delivering luxury housing developments in the Caribbean.

Project Details
This fixed-term appointment involves managing the commercial aspects of several bespoke, high-end residential schemes.
Projects include concrete structures with drylining, external works, retaining walls, swimming pools, and luxury interior finishes.
You will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of quantity surveying duties across the project lifecycle.
Local guidance and full support will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into the regional construction practices and regulatory environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Establish budgets
- Generate bills of quantity separated into labour and material costs
- Generate Labour contracts
- Manage budgets
- Budgeting for labor and materials & managing labor budgets and approving releases or payments.
- Supervise trades
- Monitor actual costs v budgets & look for further savings
- Report to the CEO and Construction Director
Desired Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 4 years of experience.
- Previous experience in the luxury residential sector is preferred
- UK experience is preferred although experience of working in a location like the Caribbean is also desirable.
- Experience of working for a building contractor or housing developer.
- On-site experience required.
- Experienced and able to handle both pre and post contract work, and with a real knowledge and understanding of how take offs, budgets and costs are assessed and managed throughout the construction process.
- Measurements of Bills of Quantities experience
- Revit or AutoCAD experience
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- An HNC or BSc in Quantity Surveying is expected.
