Quantity Surveyor
A growing cost management consultancy is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Central London.
This role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial projects, delivering high-quality cost management services to a range of respected clients.
Project Details
The successful candidate will support the delivery of multiple high-value residential and commercial developments in this Quantity Surveyor job based in Central London.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Preparing cost plans, budgets and detailed cost estimates
- Assisting with procurement, tendering and contract administration
- Managing valuations, variations and progress reporting
- Supporting pre- and post-contract cost management processes
- Liaising directly with clients, contractors and professional consultants
- Assisting with risk management and value engineering reviews
Desired Skills and Experience
- 3–5 years’ experience in a cost consultancy or construction environment
- Experience working on both commercial and residential projects preferred
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of procurement routes and contract procedures
- Motivated, professional attitude with ambition to progress in quantity surveying
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Working towards MRICS accreditation is preferred
