Construction Manager job to work on new housing developments in the Caribbean

Project Details

A fixed-term or potentially permanent Construction Manager job to work on a range of high end residential property development projects.

The villas are mostly built using concrete and are dry-lined, with exterior works including retaining walls and swimming pools.  Luxury high-end finishing of the apartments is essential.

Responsibilities and Duties

An experienced housing Construction Manager or Site Manager is needed to:

• Provide strong leadership to ensure that efficient construction work is completed
• Set daily construction schedules
• Supervise trades
• Take responsibility for the quality of work and productivity levels
• Coordinate all supply requirements for materials and manage construction through to final snagging
• Mostly post-contract cost and contract management work

Desired Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in the luxury residential sector is preferred
• Experience of working in the Caribbean or internationally is advantageous
• Experience of concrete housing and high quality finishes is required
• Previous experience of working for a property developer is highly desirable

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

UK experience is preferred, although experience of working in a location like the Caribbean or somewhere comparable is required
