Senior Quantity Surveyor
A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with 3–12 years’ experience and MRICS status to join a leading consultancy in central London. You’ll work across a diverse portfolio of high-end and heritage projects, providing full pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services for clients. This quantity surveyor job also offers hybrid working from home (WFH).
Project Details
Projects include the restoration of historic buildings, new facilities for independent schools, and luxury residential schemes.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver full quantity surveying and cost management services from feasibility to final account
- Prepare cost plans, estimates, BOQs, and tender documentation
- Undertake detailed measurement and take-offs
- Manage contract administration and valuations
- Advise clients on procurement, cost control, and risk management
- Liaise with architects, engineers, and contractors throughout project delivery
Desired Skills and Experience
- 3–12 years’ experience within a consultancy or PQS environment
- Proven expertise across pre- and post-contract work
- Experience in a senior or leadership role, managing or mentoring junior team members
- Excellent technical and communication skills
- Experience with historic or prestige building projects preferred
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar discipline
- MRICS qualification essential
