A Quantum Associate level role exists within a leading, London based specialist consultancy offering expert services in quantum and delay related matters.

The business is a medium-sized, highly professional expert consultancy priding itself on a fantastic working environment. The successful candidate will perform a pivotal role within the business, carrying out quantum related expert work, often performing the role of lead assistant to the lead expert.

Project Details

You will work largely on disputes that are heading for arbitration or litigation. Such disputes may be located domestically within the UK or overseas, however all work can often be done based out of London. Therefore, you will be rarely asked to visit site, if at all.

The client provides a range of services that could see your skills used in a number of roles including:

- Quantum Expert
- Single Joint Expert
- Court Appointed Expert
- Quantum Advisor

Such roles will often relate to expert witness work on arbitration or litigation hearings, however on occasions you may be asked to perform a role on adjudication or mediation matters.

Responsibilities and Duties

As Associate within the business, you will work closely with the lead expert on a range of domestic and international construction disputes, often fulfilling the role of lead assistant.


Desired Skills and Experience

  • Must have previous experience working at a senior level in a Quantum related role within the expert witness sector
  • Experience of drafting / writing Expert Reports would be highly advantageous
  • All project sector experience will be considered due to the variety of project / dispute related experience you will gain as part of this role
  • Good communicator and networker who can build relationships with legal professionals

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

  • Qualified to degree level or similar equivalent is desired
  • Member or Fellow of the RICS is essential
