Build Commercial Manager

A leading Hong Kong based Main Contractor is seeking an experienced and capable Commercial Manager to join the Building Division to help manage and oversee various ongoing projects within the region

Responsibilities and Duties

•  Take the lead commercial role on large scale projects
•  Provide expert Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management advice to various projects
•  Handle Dispute Resolution and Claims Management matters
•  Take the lead role in providing Financial Management and Cost Control advice - Provide legal and contractual advice when required
•  Manage various project based staff
•  Report to Senior Management on commercial and contracts matters

Desired Skills and Experience

•  Substantial experience working in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management
•  Excellent knowledge in cost control, contractual matters, claims management and dispute resolution
•  Good knowledge in alternative contract procurement methods
•  Strong negotiation, management and interpersonal skills
•  Excellent communication skills, fluent in Cantonese and English

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

•  Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
•  Professional qualification such as MHKIS or MRICS is preferred
