Chief Estimator

Our client, a major construction & engineering firm with an enviable footprint across Asia is seeking to appoint a Senior Estimator with significant tendering and estimating experience to join the bid teams and be pivotal to their successful award of a number of high profile multi billon $$$ civil and build projects across Asia. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Take a lead role in the Estimating department
•Manage the design, planning and estimation of bids
•Oversee the preparation of bid cost analysis and budgets
•Attend tender meeting with clients & suppliers

Desired Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience working within an estimating role, ideally at management level
•Demonstrable experience of major civil engineering & build projects in Hong Kong & Asia
•Good command in oral & written English 
•Excellent man management skills within a multi cultural environment
• Knowledge of government project tender and contract requirements

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

•Engineering degree or trades background
