Electrical and Mechanical System Design Manager

Project Details

We have been retained by Chun Wo Development Holdings, an established and successful construction, engineering and property development business operating in Hong Kong and throughout Asia, to appoint high calibre individuals to join and be pivotal players in the growth and on-going success of their M&E division.  

Responsibilities and Duties

Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will provide critical direction to the design development and coordination on major civils and build projects from inception to completion
Manager concept design and development teams
Manage and coordinate the design development and coordination with installation and commissioning teams for electrical and mechanical systems and equipment working closely with design consultants, specialist subcontractors and suppliers on major new build projects in Hong Kong
Manage the production of construction issue documentation and authority approvals
Ensure the design development incorporates and in compliance with the design specifications
Provide technical input and advice
Coordinate CSD, schematic MEP drawings in ACAD format
Communicating effectively with the construction team.

Desired Skills and Experience

Minimum 15 years on-site experience in construction contracts, among which at least 5 years should be in E&M system design works;
At least 5 years on-site experience was gained as a System Design Manager or above in E&M contract(s), each with awarded contract sum of HK$500 million or more;
Sound management and interpersonal skills

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

Degree holder in Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services disciplines or equivalent in appropriate discipline;
