Project Director

We are seeking an experienced and talented Buildings Project Director to lead a redevelopment team to deliver a flagship hotel development in Hong Kong.  The role provides a unique opportunity for a committed, decisive and proactive person to lead, drive and deliver!

Project Details

Based initially in HQ on HK Island and then transfer to the client project office in Kowloon, reporting to the leadership team. 

Responsibilities and Duties

Managing on behalf of a demanding developer client, the design & delivery team of 30 ppl.
Develop and implement the project execution plan and programme
Control the project budget
Leading by example in Health, Safety, Security, Quality, and Environment matters
Effectively utilize staff and resources to ensure that project is delivered safely, profitably, on time and meeting client expectations
Generating and maintaining excellent client & stakeholder relationships

Desired Skills and Experience

Technical Background preferred
Experienced in Hospitality / Hotel Refurbishment and A&A works also;
Experienced in the delivery of Green Field / New Construction projects ideal but not essential;
Client Facing
Client and Contractor experience essential.
Provisionally office based then client office based.
Good command of written and oral English essential.

Degree qualification in a relevant discipline
