Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join their team in Singapore. With their Asia wide office base together with their distribution partners throughout the rest of Asia and beyond, this is a bright career opportunity for you with plenty room for development.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop an in depth knowledge of the Sinapore region in the lighting industry
  • Develop the potential and implement the strategic approach to demonstrate to clients the benefits of working with the company for all its requirements for efficient lighting and all associated services
  • Design lighting schemes, produce payback documents and present findings to customers
  • Manage projects to ensure the right solution is delivered on time and to the customers’ expectations
  • Grow sales by means of the retention & development of our key clients
  • Be aware of changes in lighting legislation and new technology developments in Singapore

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of the Singapore lighting market and products and their applications in neccessary
  • Previous experience as a Sales Engineer. with an excellent degree of success in negotiation at multiple levels, customer relationship development and financial management
  • Previous experienece in the facade lighting, lighting or electrical industry is preferred
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

  • Degree qualified in engineering or other relevant discipline
  • Professional membership with a recognized institution will be an advantage
