Senior Manager - Quantity Surveying
Project Details
This Senior Manager will join the Global Store Development team and manage the QS operations. The role is be based in Hong Kong and will work closely with the Director of the team, reporting to the Global Director, Store Development.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Global Capex monitoring and Control
• Managing and coordinating team of external QS consultants
• Working closely with Design Team and Project Managers to deliver the project within budget
• Budget Cost planning; Value Engineering
• Project financial control and reporting
• Payment recommendations and payment certificates approvals
• Assist with project procurement strategies, and in contract price negotiation
• Negotiate variation orders and final accounts with contractors and suppliers
• Manage and review contracts terms and conditions
• Work with in house risk management and legal department to review contracts
• Insurance replacement valuation and asset reinstatement obligation calculations
• Global cash flow forecast calculations; Global capital forecast report
• Final Accounts and Cost analysis
Desired Skills and Experience
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience working within large corporations, managing QS operations
• Very strong in cost planning and project financial control & reporting
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to manage and work with senior stakeholders of the business
• Strong communicator, and able to present to different departments
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
• A relevant degree within Quantity Surveying
