Summary of Senior Project Manager

An experienced Senior Project Manager is required to deliver a prestigious 5 star hotel development in Bahrain.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Take the lead in delivering on behalf of a demanding client, a 5 star hotel resort development from inception to completion and aftercare. 
• Work collaboratively with other stakeholders to manage related issues on interrelated projects 
• Utilise and embed established tools and processes and develop to suit particular project requirements and Client's operation principles. 
• Strong personal presence pre and post contract working with team members to plan and review project activity associated with the supply chain in regards to safety, programme, quality, contractors' performance and recommending and implementing corrective action. 
• Deliver project within the framework of risk, sustainability and environmental considerations agreed at the business case stage, whilst maintaining focus on time, cost and quality. 
• Utilise sector Specific Market, Client and Built Asset Know How (Insight).

Desired Skills and Experience

• Extensive post qualification PM experience with recent experience of working in a senior role delivering 5 star hotel developments.
• Experience of delivering large projects for corporate blue chip clients is essential.
• Experience of delivering projects in the Middle East is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and client facing skill
• Sound technical background
• Ability to work under pressure to meet the changing and diverse demands
• Fluency in English is essential

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

• Recognised degree in building, project management or construction related discipline
