Senior Quantity Surveyor

A leading Hong Kong main contractor is seeking capable and enthusiastic Senior Quantity Surveyors to work on large scale building projects. This well known main contractor has a proven history of completing large scale landmark projects and can provide excellent long term career development opportunities for successful candidates. This is a site based role reporting to the Commercial Manager.

HK$billion building projects located in Hong Kong

Responsibilities and Duties

•  Take a lead role in contract administration, subcontractor management
•  Checking measurements & re-measurements
•  Provide commercial advice and recommendations
•  Client liaison if necessary
•  Preparation of claims as required
•  Any other Quantity Surveying duties required by the Commercial Manager
•  Supervise junior QS staff

Desired Skills and Experience

•  Experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor in Hong Kong
•  Main Contracting experience is preferred
•  Building project experience, preferable large scale project
•  Excellent communication skills in Cantonese and English
•  Good leadership skills
•  Strong IT skill

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

•  Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
•  MRICS or MHKIS professional membership is preferred
