Architect Owner's Representative
Construction careers do not get better than this! An excellent opportunity for a mid career energetic Architect to act as Owner's representative for a single private family office based in Hong Kong and provide the design and construction coordination for a number of luxury developments in Asia, Europe and US.
Project Details
You will be based in the family office in Hong Kong with regular travel around 30% to project locations in Asia, Europe and US.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Reporting directly to the owner's wife, you will be the principal coordination between the family office and the project consultants, contractors, specialists and all relevant stakeholders.
- Provide timely advice and strategy on design and coordination matters for projects varying in size and complexity.
- Use your architectural flair to provide innovative, cost effective and sustainable solutions to exterior and interior design issues
- Liaison with all relevant stakeholders including government authorities, consultants, contractor, sub-contractors, suppliers.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 8-10 years ideally of relevant design and design coordination experience on residential real estate projects.
- Luxury fit out and FF&E exposure
- Experience in project planning, design and delivery and management experience in design & build projects.
- Able to work with minimum supervision and under pressure.
- Excellent client facing skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and preferably in French.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Degree in Architecture, interior design or related design qualification
