Assistant Planning Manager

Project Details

We have been retained by Chun Wo Development Holdings, an established and successful construction, engineering and property development business operating in Hong Kong and throughout Asia, to appoint high calibre individuals to join and be pivotal players in the growth and on-going success of their civils  division. 

Responsibilities and Duties

Time management, delay analysis, claims support and change management throughout the entire process of pre-construction, design, procurement, construction delivery and aftercare.
Reporting to the Planning Manager and working with a small team of planning engineers to develop the base line programme and ensure overall progress of work from pre-construction stage through to completion is efficient
Your team will be in charge of all aspects of project planning and project controls.
Monitor and maintain detailed project schedule, work breakdown structure, project and activity coding and resource loading
Set up and maintain Critical Path networks, including updating, reporting and implementation of logic and resource changes
Assist to prepare timely and accurate reports and schedule plans for project management and effective project control
Monitor the scheduling of project milestones and ensure any potential delays or risks are met with appropriate solutions.
Liaise with client, consultants and contractors to review progress of project.
Monitor site works on a day to day basis.

Desired Skills and Experience

Minimum 4 years relevant experience with diversified experience in planning in civil works;
Innovative thinking on technical approaches for building construction
Using MS project and Primavera (P6) is a must;
Sound knowledge of safety and environmental management.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

Degree holder in Civil / Structural Engineering;
